Church field II

Another post about our fab new spot enar the church. I even got a bag of walnuts and some potatoes. Crazy how many free things you can gather sometimes on one spot 😀 I love free things and not being under control of the consumer society that wants us to work work work ! Spend less, work less is my motto. OR just die, then you don’t have to work at all.

1-Old Iron axe. Have no idea how old but it took months and months of soaking in distilled water and it still had a rusty look :/

2 – French jeton (green) – looks like a coin but was used on a calculation tool.
Type crown – tournai. Starting after 1415.

New field near church

We discovered a nice new big field almost next to a church in one of the surrounding villages. Some finds are double on the photo.
Some other detectorist showed up at the same time. Turns out he lives there and he is only allowed to detect a certain time because he’s married, lol. We, on the other hand, have all the time in the world. Married or not. That’s when you live separate lives. Not really encouraging people to go and do it like this though.

Silver coin with a missing piece, but at least this time it wasn’t THe Piece that I found, like I did already two or three times lately. And, how com the small piece always has a nice relief while the coins are big but are almost gone entirely, even if it’s silver ??
